Dear Friend,

Don't miss the poem at the end of the message.

I am writing to suggest that you receive a quote from the Holy Bible (NIV) in your email every day.  We email Bible quotes. No obligation and no advertisement!  Most of the Bible quotes are short totaling 1 to 5 Bible verses.  The emails will comprise the bible in its entirety and are delivered in succession.  If you read all of them you will end up reading the whole bible! If you think reading the Bible in this manner makes sense please click on this link to sign up!

I have decided to make the Word of God, The Holy Bible, available to you everyday for the rest of your life or for as long as I can keep it going.  The email comes from me.

Here is your chance to read the whole Bible by taking a few seconds every day when you check your email.  All you have to do is sign up!    Signing up is short and sweet.  All that is needed is your email address, that's right, just your email address!  *You can unsubscribe from receiving your email Bible quotes any time by clicking a link from any of the emails you receive.  You have nothing to lose!

Below is a sample of the emailed Bible messages you will receive everyday if you subscribe.  The email you will receive is titled The Word for the Day.  The emailed Bible quotes are taken from the New International Version (NIV) Copyright 1973, 1978, 1984 by the International Bible Society.

Please help me spread Gods word and forward this opportunity along to others you feel might be interested, even if your not!

The Word for the Day:

Exodus 13 8-10

8 On that day tell your son, 'I do this because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.' 9 This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For the LORD brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand. 10 You must keep this ordinance at the appointed time year after year.

THE POEM

I knelt to pray but not for long,

I had too much to do.

I had to hurry and get to work

For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,

I jumped up off my knees.

My Christian duty was now done

My soul could rest at ease.....

All day long I had no time

To spread a word of cheer

No time to speak of Christ to friends,

They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do,

That was my constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need

But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord,

I came, I stood with downcast eyes.

For in his hands God held a book;

It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said

"Your name I cannot find

I once was going to write it down...

But never found the time"
